We have been ‘team-cooking’ for over 10 years now, developing and implementing this fun and powerful activity for Romanian and international teams, embassies and groups of friends. 

It is proven that a team culinary event is much more efficient and produces longer lasting results that any other traditional team activities.

Why is it so successful? It’s the recipe: as informal as it gets, very much fun, pretty educational and most probably everyone will enjoy it.

Team Cooking at Société Gourmet is an experience of details well considered: menu (tailored to your team), ingredients (we use local ingredients as much as possible, only quality products and variety of spices), talented Chef ( honest hospitality, passionate about teaching techniques and tricks, telling stories about the special ingredients), the space and energy (our house is design-ish, soulful, with a lot of old rescued oak wood furniture, a garden, intimate and private, exclusively reserved for your event).

The original Société Gourmet cooking experience for groups of up to 30 participants allows guests to cook alongside their colleagues and friends a seasonal menu, guided by our Chef.

A typical Team Cooking event starts with a welcome to our home, the Chef’s introduction of the menu followed by some collaborative cooking (2/3 hours); finally, a sit-down, full service, multi course meal with a lovely table setup. Soft drinks are included and the SG aprons are available during the activity.

3-Course Menu – 3 hours (DAYTIME)

Start time: From 10am


  • 4.000 RON flat rate (up to 11 persons)
  • 330 RON per person (12 to 19 persons)
  • 300 RON per person (20 to 25 persons)
  • 280 RON per person (26 to 30 persons)

*Includes soft drinks. Wine + beer/other drinks available for purchase, **pre class platters extra. Your stay can be extended (if available) and the cost is 450 RON/hour

3-Course Menu  – 4 hours (EVENING)

Start time: From 6pm


  • 4.500 RON flat rate (up to 11 persons)
  • 380 RON per persoana (12 la 19 persons)
  • 350 RON per persoana (20 la 25 persons)
  • 330 RON per persoana (26 la 30 persons)

Two of the most complimenting activities: cooking and wine tasting – both interactive ateliers. For the wine tasting atelier you will discover 3 excellent Romanian wines, learning about the grape, terroir and other sparkling details that will make you (even) more savvy. 

A typical Cooking & Wine event kicks off with a welcome to our home and making up two teams: each team will start it’s assigned atelier and change roles after 1h30minutes, completing both activities. The wines from your workshop will be paired with your cooking menu, making the experience a full immersion in this art called ‘bien vivre’. Finally by the end of your ateliers, the meal prepared will be served at a lovely set sharing table; the wines from your workshop are available to order during the evening.

3-Course Menu + 3 Wines Tasting – 4 hours (DAYTIME/EVENING) 

Start time: Daytime: from 10am-1pm / Evening: from 6pm

The bar at Société Gourmet offers a selection of wines and fine drinks. Other drinks can be pre-ordered as open bar packages or served à la carte and added to your final invoice. You may bring your own wines for a per bottle corkage of 25 RON for opened bottles. Corkage fee applies only to wine. Guests may not bring their own liquor.  Sommelier services available upon request.


Prices above are not including of V.A.T (19% for services and alcoholic products or 9% for food).

Deposit: all corporate and private event bookings will be confirmed with a 50% non-refundable deposit upon reservation date. 

Final payment: clients are provided a final invoice at the end of their event and the balance is due in 48 hours.

When we arrived, the first thing everyone said was ´wow´. The venue had such a nice atmosphere, the interior, the music, the welcoming staff…we felt comfortably and relaxed right away. The whole evening was animated very well, we had always something to do but we never felt pressure that we have to do anything. The food was excellent, the taste, the presentation, everything.It was not the evening itself, but the overall preparation was very flexible, customer focused and effortless.

Dupa ce i-am cunoscut pe Raluca si Daniel, am stiu ca sarbatorirea Craciunului va fi cu totul speciala. Si uite asa, intr-o seara magica, ne-am adunat 25 de persoane in casa Societe Gourmet, intampinati de o atmosfera extrem de primitoare, cu o foarte buna organizare din partea gazdelor, cu un puternic sentiment de „acasa”. Fiind primul eveniment care iesea din tiparul cinei clasice de Craciun, am intrat in joc, unii dintre noi mai timizi, altii curiosi, si ne-am lasat purtati in povestile lui Daniel, povesti frumos mirositoare si extrem de gustoase, ce starneau exclamatii de uimire la fiecare pas, pentru ce gustam, pentru ce facea Daniel dar mai ales pentru ce reuseam noi sa facem sub indrumarea sa! A fost o seara aplaudata de toti, chiar si de cei care nu s-au aratat neaparat interesati de gatit, tocmai pt ca evenimentul te scoate din cotidian. Daniel are capacitatea de a starni chiar si cel mai retras participant care reuseste intr-un final sa faca cele mai frumoase paste :))
Structura programului a facilitat apropierea participantilor, a deschis subiecte de discutie si de „degustare”, de competitie si de conexiune.

Chiar si acum, dupa o luna de la eveniment, se povesteste despre truda si avalansa de arome ale bomboanelor de ciocolata care au inchis seara exceptional!

Va multumesc pentru ca m-ati ajutat sa creez un eveniment de conectare si de deconectare in cel mai rafinat mod posibil! Sunteti minunati prin tot ceea ce faceti!

This is what a team of managers from Microsoft Global Business Support discovered after a hard day of meetings, when we joined Daniel, Razvan and Raluca for an evening of gourmet cooking and wine tasting. The challenges this time were not about our key performance indicators, but different: why make linear grissini when you can make pretzels, what to do with a bottle of palinca when for dessert you only need a small cup, how to make your own ravioli after tasking 3 types of delicious Romanian wine and who moved the pancetta? We were so proud of our cooking and most of all of our team work, it was difficult to leave the event! So while the buses were waiting patiently, we stopped in front of the restaurant and continued talking, laughing, praising each other and having a great time! We brought that energy back in the office, so Thank You, Societe Gourmet, for helping us become a stronger team!

Unique, “sensorial” and interesting experience, delicious food and cool, calm and patient chef. The menu was extremely interesting, we liked that we learned some good tricks in the kitchen from this. Even though some of us had done this before, for them this was above expectations.
We had fun, we worked together and we enjoyed every step of the process (especially the part where we ate what we cooked…some of us were astonished that THAT dish came out of their hands).

We first came in contact with Raluca and Daniel in 2010 when all we knew was that we want something different from everything we have done so far. This “request” usually puzzles most, but to no surprise we found not one, but several proposals from them, all different and each promising a different but unitary culinary experience. Our experience at Societe Gourmet was by far one of the best experience a team can have, a real pleasure.
It was like we were invited to a dinner by friends we never met and cooked the most amazing dishes we didn’t know we were capable of cooking.
I’m not going to stress out our team bonding through team work( you already know that) but on the fact that people can make amazing things when they are passionate and enthusiastic.. … no one is born a great cook, one learns by doing.
